It's Tutorial Tuesday!

This week we are coloring The Birds and the Bees Tomte Gnome. For this tutorial, we're going to use colored pencils to neaten up and define our alcohol marker artwork and talk a bit about creating white in your artwork.

Neutral colors are great for creating natural whites, such as the white in a Tomte Gnome's beard. The trick is to leave a lot of white from the paper showing and focusing on lighter neutrals to create your shadows. Color along with me to see how I give his beard texture and depth while maintaining it's white color.
