Tutorial Thursday? =) How to Draw a Tomte Gnome!

It's been a bit since we've had a video hasn't it?

What can I say except that things have been different since my weight loss surgery in February... It's harder to sit still, I've had to change some meds around in order to be able to focus again and well, I eat every 2-3 hours now which can get a bit time consuming. But I'm adapting. I'm learning to prepare my food ahead (and I eat a lot of stuff that doesn't require a lot of preparation... like I love greek yogurt - so yum!)

I lost track of the One Day Fae Digi Giveaway this month though and that bummed me out. I seldom miss it. So instead of having it on the 21st, as I said in the newsletter, we'll do it on the 28th. So we will not miss a Fae this month - I promise. And in the meantime, I thought I would finally get around to the drawing lessons I promised a couple years ago - specifically the tomte gnome.

These guys really are super easy to draw. In the tutorial we'll start with basic shapes: circles and triangles, then go on to add long flowing lines for a beard, creases and folds for his big pointy hat, and even draw in a little tongue - just for some fun.

And the best part is, you only need 3 supplies: a pencil, an eraser and something to draw on.

If you like this drawing tutorial, please let me know in the comments below or over on YouTube. I would love to hear what you think. Enjoy!!
