First I want to thank everyone who applied! It was so hard to choose just a handful from the many wonderful applicants. You guys are all so talented!!!

I've had the pleasure of working with a few of these ladies before. As you may have noticed, Vannessa never really left the team ;) She volunteered to help out when I was still getting things moved around and I really appreciate that so much. Her projects are always amazing and she is an absolutely sweet, kind spirit. I am really so fortunate to have her as a friend, and on the team! Here is a little bit about Vannessa, in her own words:

"Hi I'm Vannessa and I'm a primary school teacher by day, teaching a lively class of 9-10 year olds and avid crafter by the weekend! I live in the UK, about an hour north of London with my boyfriend of 21 years and our very spoilt kitty, Miss Tallulah Zazzles (No, I didn't name her!).

I started card making years ago now as something to do during the summer holidays and although my first cards were pretty awful (Sizzix die cuts and horrid patterned papers, just stuck on a card blank), I soon became very addicted and my style has really evolved over the years. I love to colour cute images and Faery Ink ones are some of my all time faves - they definitely fulfil my need for pretty and magical stamps.

I love all things fantasy and would say I am a nerd at heart. Outside of crafting, I love to read urban fantasy books (Jennifer Estep is probably my favourite author!) and play World of Warcraft. I also love handbags and shoes and have a growing collection of Irregular Choice shoes, much to my boyfriend's amusement as I have nowhere left to store them anymore! Not that that will stop me buying more!

i am so excited to still be a part of the Faery Ink Design Team and cannot wait to work with this amazing team of ladies and with Amanda's fantastic images too. I hope you will all join us in the Faery Ink Facebook Group and share your fabulous makes with us all too."

Cristina has guest designed for me before, and I loved what she came up with then, as well as many of her other projects I've admired through the years. She is immensely talented! Even better though - she is very sweet and loads of fun. I'm stoked to have her on the team!! Here is a little information about Cristina, in her own words:

"Hello crafty friends!
My name is Cristina González Muñiz, and I live in Santiago de Compostela, a beautiful very historic city at the end of the way of Saint James, in Spain.

I am 41 now and I am a always busy mom of two little boys too, who works in a Geological Services company with her husband, although I studied Mathematics. Anyway, there is always a big problem to solve with Mathematics, anywhere. Also between soils and rocks.
I really enjoy winter, skiing and traveling around Europe: Alps and Pyrinees, specially. I love when I have to work in the mountains or the forest, and to rest in a snowy lost little town.

I started crafting in December 2012, the year when my second son was born, as I live in a very rainy state and I had too much time for making things in home. I started with mini albums but a closest friend of mine told me about Copic Markers and I started my collection of sketches. Now I love cardmaking, more than scrapbooking (if you think that scrapbooking is working with photos).

I am so happy of being here with this wonderful team and I really hope that we will make such inspiring works that you will love them.  See you soon!"

Nicola and I have been friends for a couple years now. She has a darker sensibility, like myself, so I knew she would be a great match. Her creations are gorgeous, so well thought-out and absolutely on-point. Even better - she is just an all-around wonderful woman. I'm really honored to have her on the team! Here is a little bit about Nicola, in her own words:

"Hello I'm Nicola. I'm from UK but living in Canada.  I have the most important job in the world being a mum, but I also have a side hustle selling shampoo!!

Crafting is my passion and a great way for me to escape and de-stress.  I love creating cards and playing with mixed media on canvases and glass bottles. I first discovered Faery Ink during the August 2016 SummerWeen colouring competition and have been in love ever since as Amanda has my favourite themes: Fantasy, Steampunk & Goth.

I was overjoyed to be asked to join as a Faerykin and can't wait to share some inspiration with you."

Lastly, our newest addition is Cass who blew me away with the projects she entered in the Faery Ink Unicorn Masquerade contests. Absolutely phenomenal work. I'm really excited to get to know Cass! I know we are going to have lots of fun working together =) Here is a little bit about Cass in her own words...

"Hi, I’m Cass (Catherine on a Sunday)I live in Glasgow, Scotland with my hubbie, 14 year old son and crazy dog Ollie. I was a nurse but now work in a local Primary school a few days a week. I’ve been crafting in some form since a child but took up scrapbooking after my son was born in 2003. This progressed to cardmaking which is my main form of crafting now. I have a fabulous log cabin in my garden which is my craft room, and is known as the Crafty Cabin. I am also lucky to demo twice a year for a couple of weekends in my local Craft shop in Hillington,Glasgow. Outwith crafting I’m a rockchick at heart and have been a huge rock music fan since I was a teenager. I’m also a bit of a geek chick too."

These ladies are going to rock your socks off! You will see their inspiration posts on the blog here starting in July. Until then, hang tight. We have a couple fun things planned for June too =)

If you did not make it this time, please do apply again when Faery Ink has another DT Call in November/December. I'll be looking for active bloggers who know how to work with Faery Ink images. So I'll expect to see a bit of Faery Ink on your blog and at least 2 updates a month from now through then. Also, do not be surprised if I drop you an email with an invitation to guest blog sometime in the next 6 months =)
