Unicorn Moon Celebration

Continuing with my Unicorn Masquerade theme this month,  I have made one of my favourite card types - the twisted easel.   I love these as they give an extra surface for embellishing and the twist adds a more interesting shape than a regular easel.

This photo is a little dark as I took it in the evening when I was making the card, but I wanted to show the areas of sparkle on the image.   I think fairytale and mythical images always need some sparkle!!

I covered the bottom with some fun text paper

Sometimes I add a square over this piece but this time I wanted to keep the triangle shape, as I think the point goes very well with a unicorn horn.   I didn't want to cover it with paper but I didn't want to just leave it blank white, so I used some shiny white tulle.  I used spray glue to attach this and white glue around the edges to stop it from fraying.

For the sentiment I have used chipboard words coloured with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.  The bottom photo was taken in bright sunlight to show the sparkle better, which is why there appears to be a white background instead of the purple paper.
