It's really starting to feel like spring here now, although there is yet more snow on the forecast (boo).  Any weather is mermaid weather in my eyes though,,,, I can't get enough of them! Which is just as well as Amanda is drawing some up as we are getting towards Mer-May.

It's been a while since I coloured some pink hair, so I figured a mermaid was a perfect excuse for something bright and fun. I added some texture with liquid pearls.

I am very lucky to have a friend who hoards dies. Recently we had a cutting session, so I gained some gorgeous sea-themed cuts. These are colored using shimmer chalks and Distress Inks.

It's always hard to capture the sparkles in a photo but as the sun was shining when I photographed this card, I took the opportunity for a video.

'Arielle & The Seahorse' will be available in the Etsy store this weekend, along with some other new images.
