You Make My World Turn

Good Morning everyone and welcome to my inspiration post for Faery Ink. This week I am sharing  the gorgeous Steampunk Mermaid Destiny, which was released during Mer-May, but I never got round to using her. Glad really as the other week these new dies and steampunk themed papers came out, which I thought were just perfect for this image.

I actually ended up printing her a little too large for you to see most of the one sheet of patterned paper I used. She was too big to add anything more! I do love that she takes centre stage though!

Anyway here she is.... isn't she stunning?! I know steampunk is generally metallic colours, but I went with the colours from the patterned papers (which I didn't actually use!) and attempted to do a rosy-pink brown kind of colour for her tail. It didn't quite come out exactly as the colour in the papers, but it wasn't too far off!
