Good morning! Vannessa here sharing my latest Faery Ink Inspiration post with you all. Now that the summer is finally here (and boy is it hot and humid here in the UK already!), my garden is attracting no end of butterflies, so I just had to use this gorgeous image, Dance of the Butterflies from the Pretty Girls with Wings and Things Vol 2 Colouring Book.
I would usually add a garden type background for an image like this, with grass and sky, but I pulled out my pearlescent chalks and thought an orangey-peach coloured background might be nice for a change and you know what? I love it! I added a bit of black too and it almost gave it a distressed look!
