Hiya!
Cass here today with my inspiration post.
Did you sing the song to the blog post title? I did when I was writing it!
I'm
so excited to be sharing my card today as it's featuring my favourite
Tomte gnomes. There's a brand new digi bundle of them in the Faery Ink shop. (or singles if you prefer)
I decided to make a shaker card with...you guessed it...Snow!
I also wanted to keep it mainly in grey shades apart from the pop of green of the tree.
The
snowflake frame was cut on my ScanNCut. It was from the Silhouette
Store and I added a sheet of acetate to it. I stuck the trees on my
backing card which looks like a blizzard and has grey tones through it.
I
added the fake snow and adhered the snowflake frame with 3D Foam tape
to the base. I then added the tomte to the bottom left corner.
Here's a closer look at this fantastic tomte. and the snowy frame.
I cut the Let It Snow from Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and glittered them.
I
also added snowball pearls to the centre of the snowflakes around the
frame. Loads of sparkle on the snow and snowflakes around the tomte with
my clear Wink Of Stella pen.
I love this and will be displaying it over the Christmas holidays.
We'd love to see what you make on our Faery Ink Facebook Group.
