Circle Shaped Card Featuring The Steampunk Spring Tomte Gnome

Faerykin Cass here today with my inspiration post featuring the new Steampunk Spring Tomte Gnome which is available in the Faery Ink Etsy Shop.
I've not really made any steampunk cards before so just went with the metal industrial theme using lots of metallic cardstock.
I coloured the Tomte giving him a tarnished gold look hat and also the flowers. I also coloured the plant pots to look like copper.
I cut the clocks and cogs from gold and copper metallic card.

I cut the circle shape on my ScanNCut in copper metallic card and added the numbers Patterned Paper from BoBunny. It's quite an older collection. Just as well I'm a paper hoarder and this was perfect!

I stamped and embossed the flowers on gold metallic card using gold embossing powder and cut them out adding the metal screws to the middle of them. I only had a silver butterfly so heat embossed it using copper embossing powder.
To finish off I added the mini black alphabets to spell out Spring Time.

I was definitely out of my comfort zone with this one but it's nice to challenge yourself sometimes.  I love how he turned out. Unfortunately it was difficult to get a half decent photo due to the metallic card. It looks much better IRL.

We'd love to see what you make on our Faery Ink Facebook Group.
Please pop by and share your projects.
