Plaque Featuring Autumn Crow Tomte Gnome

Faerykin Cass here today with my inspiration post featuring the new Autumn Crow Tomte Gnome which is available in the Etsy Shop.

I love this gnome with all this Autumn/Fall produce. I decided I wanted to do something along the lines of him selling his produce and it just so happened a 3D Red Barn SVG was released. I didn't want to build the whole 3D barn so decided just to cut out the front elevation using my ScanNCut. (The Red Barn is available from The Dreaming Tree)

Once I had cut it out I embossed the panels and inked all the pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I then glued it all together.

I coloured  the gnome with my copic markers and paper pieced his hat and shoes with some autumn/fall coloured tartan/plaid.

Doesn't he look totally ready for the season? I love the colours at this time of year.

I die cut the trees in shades of orange, green and kraft and added them to either side, and a grassy border along the bottom.

I then added him to the centre with some 3D foam pads. I added the mini sunflowers and plant pot on one side and a Tim Holtz pumpkin cut in half on the other so they were flat backed.

To finish off I printed out the (punny) sign "Gnome Grown Produce" and added it to the barn.

That's him all set for selling. I hope he gets some customers!

We'd love to see what you make on our Faery Ink Facebook Group.
