The domain for Faery Ink was originally purchased on May 12th 2003, and celebrated it's Grand Opening on June 12th 2003. I already had quite a bit of experience with websites and graphics from my prior domain FaeryGrrl.com. When this site originally opened, it was a purchaseware shop offering premade adoptables, signatures and websets. After many requests I started offering tutorials as well. Later that year Faery Ink became a membership area offering pretty much everything you could think of as far as graphics and web design were concerned. That is pretty much how it stayed until 2006. Twice that year the site was hacked and virtually demolished. That, along with a lot of personal things that were going on, made me decide to just leave it alone for a while. In June of 2007 I resurrected the site, as much as I could at the time. I archived everything that I could find from the site and changed it to a one time fee membership. Now Faery Ink is a tutorial site with an Archive extension. The Archive is still available as a one time fee membership but the tutorials will be offered freely for now.
I have changed so much since I first opened this website. It is inevitable that the website will change with me. I have no idea what I might decide to do with it a year from now. I just know I met a lot of good people through it (and a handful of really nasty people too). Many people have told me that they learned a lot from the tutorials - hopefully even more can now.
