At last, we are almost finished !

Let's begin with the detail required areas other than her face, as her face may require an additional page all it's own.
Making your base anatomically correct is a personal decision really. I usually add nipples ( since you never know when you might want to draw a Janet Jackson Superbowl doll ) so I will give you a close up of how I do that. These are itty bitty nippies since these breasts are so round and well positioned, there's no way they aren't bought and paid for ^_~ I just draw a small circle on one, fill and highlight then duplicate and scoot it over to the other breast. For nipple colors, I would eyedrop the darkshadow, lower the saturation a bit and go from there. You can clip my nippy colors if you like ^_~

Next the toes...
You will want to take the outline color and lighten it a bit...
Add just a little pixel here and there to further define the toes.. The blue spots are just so you can see where my color is added more easily....

I dont add toenails to my bases. Its just easier to add nail polish later when you're dolling.

Now onto the face.

First things first, let's give her some ears.. A good way to figure out where body parts should go is by measuring your own. For me, the top of my ears align with the very bottom of my eyebrow, the bottom of my ears align with the bottom of my lip. Unfortunately that would look really crazy on a doll base. So I like to start with the top of my base ears at the browline and the bottom a little closer to the nose..

My ears lay flat against my head and I have full cheeks, so my ears aren't really noticable from the front. Ears protruding like these look strange to me, so I usually dont add ears at all... But we'll keep these on for the purpose of the tutorial ^_^
Let's work on the eyebrows since they are relatively easy to fix up. Choose the outline color and make it a little bit darker, then go over the blue eyebrows lol..
I want my eyebrows to be a little rounder versus pointed.. so Im going to go in and make the uppermost part of the eyebrow wider..

Where I have doubled pixels on her brows toward the center of her face, im going to create softness by using a low saturation, lighter brown over the doubled pixels.
Now the eyes. As before, we are going to do one eye, duplicate, mirror but this time we will need to do another mirror of the iris to keep the lighting accurate and prevent the base from looking cross eyed.
Use a soft shade of black ( not true black ) and color in the eyelashes like below.
Use low saturation shades of brown to elongate the eye and make the lashes softer rather than harsher. I also went in and removed the bottom outline of the eye, for now at least.

Now Ive added depth to the iris by using darkest shades toward the top, medium shade in the middle, and lighter shade for the bottom. Then I've add to spots of highlight and a pupil in the center. I also added eyelash to the inner corner of the eye...

Now I'm going to add a bottom eyelash...

And make the upper lashes fuller...
Now Im going to add a little shadow to the white of the eye...

My eye is complete now :) Duplicate layer and mirror...
Mirroring the original eye makes things alot easier, but remember to then mirror the iris, so the highlights are the same on both eyes.
Next we want to further define the nose. Begin by taking the color from the outline, lower the saturation and make it lighter as welll... Then go over the line we already created for the nose..
Then with an even lighter color, shape the nose a little bit.

She is mighty pretty as is really, however, let's play with her mouth some before calling her finished...
The darkest color should go through the center of her lips. This is where the lips meet and round themselves into each other.
The second darkest will be along the edge of the bottom lip, in the corners and on the edges of the top lips. This is where lips recede into her flesh.. Lastly you will want highlights in the top and lower lips. You can add these sparingly for natural lips or moreso for glossy lips..

Lastly, if you like, you can add some blush to your base. I like to add blush with one color on a new layer, and then use the layer properties to make it blushy ^_^
Here I used a color out of the lips and just drew in a blush area...
Then I changed the layer properties to Multiply and lowerd the opacity quite a bit. This way the blush is subtle, not clownish..

And we are all done ^_^ Now go make a pretty dollie on your new base ^_~
